DIT Kits – Weaving

Everyone remembers an experience of weaving, it’s stored in our muscles: bracelets at summer camp, tying knots with the scouts, learning to knit or crochet, macrame! Weaving reminds us that creativity is really problem-solving dressed up in gorgeous textures and colors. It’s relaxing repetition mixed with curious perseverance – what happens if I wrap this around here? Ooh, wait! I want that bit to overlap with this…! Next thing you know, you’re in a flow state- the perfect balance of challenge and skill that’s deeply restorative for the brain.

• We’ve partnered with local artist Makery Maven to design our weaving tiles. Enjoy the delicious campfire scent when they’re held in warm hands.
• We’ve mixed color and texture in a wide variety of yarn collections to enliven the senses.
• We’ve selected high-quality materials and tools to be wrapped and woven, then pulled apart and wound again- different days create different results.
